Audio-Vibratory Physio-Molecular Transport Device

So, this is the last week for Rocky Horror. The fun will be over for a while. (Until the next fun thing I can find.) There is a midnight show on Halloween. I regret that once again I have not even attempted to find a costume. I did buy a gas mask (US ARMY... just like the one I used in Basic Training) from Craigslist... I could wear that, and it would be pretty groovy I suppose.
I found out there was a zombie walk here in Huntsville. I'm really upset I didn't know about it. I'm seriously disturbed about it. Who knew they'd do a zombie walk here? *cries*
Anyhow,
Here's a video of the Rocky Horror cast coming off stage after curtain call.....

That's the tech manager sitting to the left. She's pretty cute. And at the end, the guy playing Rocky gives me a nice pose. He thinks I'm waiting to take a photo when actually I'm taking a video. I had to pretend to take a photo so he'd leave. I believe he would have held that pose for a long time. lol
I'm going to miss it. It's been three weeks of re-discovering the Rocky Horror Show. I watched 'Richard Obrien's Rocky Horror Tribute Show' tonight (available on Netflix). It was taped at the original theater where Rocky first played.
And it has Richard O'brien (Riff Raff), Patricia Quinn (Magenta) and Little Nell (Columbia) onstage together for the first time since the movie.
And it makes me think I want a Rocky Horror funeral. Since I have never been that happy in my life before or since.
Today was harsh... non-stop, back breaking work all day. The servers were not terribly busy but I was... prep!
I made a crap load of mac and cheese, thirty hamburger steaks, and did more mac and cheese for a friend of Lee's.. .then we cooked the chicken for tomorrow's special.
I never got a break all day. I'm worn out.
And after work I went to Fellowship to the five-thirty meeting and then met with my sponsor, we went through tradition one.
I bought SPORE today on E-bay. I like it on my phone but it's too small to enjoy... I want to play it on my computer. Found it for thirty bucks instead of forty something.
Of course, it's having to be sent from India. For four bucks postage. I'm still saving about ten bucks ... *sigh*
AND I don't have to go to the store. I told my sponsor about it and she admitted she had just bought her purse on e-bay... for a HUNDRED and FIFTY BUCKS.
*HOLY SHEET*
IF I were going to spend that kind of loot on something to carry my shit in, I'd have gotten one of those super-duper ultra cool army backpacks. lol
jesus. That's a lot of dough for a purse. I know, I know, it's all the rage amongst the women here. Maybe even elsewhere. But in my world, a backpack is quite all I need to carry my crap. All that extra money can go to video games.
I hope I like spore.
I've been playing Crash "Mind Over Mutant" and it's bloody hard! Not as fun as the Crash games by Naughty Dog, I'll tell you that.
I need to buy the original Crash game. Nothing else is as fun anyway.
And you don't need a memory card, you just have to write down the codes.
To paraphrase Steve Martin in "The Jerk"... "All I need is this lamp.... and Rocky Horror, and Crash Bandicoot..."
OK, now I can't get it out of italics.
FUCK.
Anyhow... I wonder if I'll always be a loner. My mom seems to think so. she's a loner too. Great thing to pass on to your kids, mom.
*sigh*
