Here it is:
Looking to meet new friends & hopefully find the love of my life one day. No stranger to serious relationships but I've discovered I'm getting picky in my old age! Do you like: coffee shops, The Renaissance Theatre, hiking the local trails, movies, open-mindedness, The Flying Monkey, an occasional beer buzz, thrift store shopping, a wicked sense of humor, listening to Marge Loveday, kindness & impeccable manners?? Then write to me & we'll see where it takes us! p.s. I am most definitely turned off by those who need anger management classes....
I wrote and said that I was only looking for friends but that I do enjoy The Flying Monkey, coffee shops, Renaissance Theater (that's where we just did Rocky Horror!), hiking, open-mindedness, and I have impeccable manners (although I forgot to mention I only use them on occasion).
I think that is enough to get a friendship going. She wrote back...
And I wrote back, and now I'm waiting for her to write back again. Last e-mail I said I would send my phone number if she wanted.
I have given up on
'boat' woman. I have given up on 'canoe' woman.
man, what is with the women my age, or older even, that are single? Are they all completely fucking nuts, set in their ways and... hermits with a zillion unruly dogs?
good grief!!!
ok, I hope this one turns out to be cool and make a nice friend.
*crossing fingers*
Just saw episode 8 of Dexter. I like Jimmy Smits. Love he's showing a dark side. He's really good, I think. There is nothing of the Law & Order character in the assistant D.A. he's playing on Dexter.
Four more episodes to go...
It's raining, been raining. My boss said he wished it would stop. I said I hope it keeps raining. He said something shitty about why don't I go back to Alaska.
I said "This state is in a seven year drought! Good grief, what about the farmers the land!"
He just doesn't like rain.
I ask you... Who doesn't like RAIN? It's what gives us life! Idiot.

I have my fingers crossed for you, and hope whatever you hope...that this might turn out to be a good friend, a best friend, or even better. Best of luck!
