walk

Voc rehab only lasted a couple hours today. All done with the eval...I'll hear back from them within six weeks. Meanwhile I have to endure my shitty job and keep looking for another.
Came home and since it was such a nice day I went for a walk. Walked all the way over to Mastin Lake Park. There's a tennis court...looks like no one plays there in the winter, despite the court itself having been recently recovered and new nets, although the new nets are all saggy. If I played tennis and if I had a tennis partner I'd go over there.
The basketball hoops are broken... I imagine they dont' put up new ones because wherever there is a basketball hoop there is automatically trouble.
Reminds me of the street I lived on in Anchorage.  The moment anyone puts up a basketball hoop, kids congregate and it's only a matter of hours before fights break out.
Also at Mastin Lake Park is DISCGOLF. That's frisbee golf if you don't know. I was amazed to see that. That's something I could do alone... yup.
Well it's a tiny little park and not much there for me other than frisbee golf. So I kept walking. I walked past a church: there was a fellow putting letters up on the marquee. He asked me if I could read the sign. "Those letters aren't too close, are they? Can you read it?"
I assured him I could read it from a block away so he was happy to hear that.
And so I came home and watched "NEXT" with Nick Cage. I wasn't the least bit impressed with it but it was ok to occupy me for a while.
And soon I have to call my sister, she says someone gave her an application for the city schools. Also I gots to call CL#3, and set a time for our expedition to the gay bar tomorrow night.
My roommates inform me that they have 'people' coming to stay the night tomorrow and that they may follow us to the gay bar.
That is after coming down the stairs to ask me if I needed anything from the store, and in a seperate trip, to ask me something else... That's three trips asking me stuff. That's sweet of her, but I missed the "Fark Headlines" column of Jeapordy which I really wanted to see.
 lol
I was impressed that they had a Fark column on Jeapordy.
anyhow... now I'm considering putting my treadmill back together. I hotwired it so I have to wrap the wires with some electrical tape and put the dashboard back on .
So I looked at the gay bar's website. http://www.partnershsv.com/
It appears that tomorrow night there is a drag king show.
OK, that ought to be firmly dissapointing, having seen shows in Chicago, San Fran, even NYC.
I'll keep an open mind and assume I won't be bored to tears.
so I was feeling sorry for myself and watching the Bonnie Hunt show. They were talking about Heifer International. I went online ( heifer.org) and bought a flock of chicks for someone who really needs them. It's only twenty bucks, and I was going to order a pizza but didn't, so I could afford it.
 :)
Next month maybe I'll give someone a swarm of bees! It's only ten bucks more.
