Day after

I'm still laughing about the Macy's T-giving day parade getting RickRolled! LOL! OMG. I wish I'd been watching it when it happened but I had to learn about it on Twitter.
 Too funny. Of course, the commentator (who was it? Matt Lauer?) said "Now watch closely" or something like that which made it less funny. But it was cool. A nod to the power of internet memes. Suddenly my self-imposed internet meme crash-course doesn't seem so stupid. Or does it?
 *Also reeling from the news that a WalMart employee was killed in New York by Black Friday shoppers stampeding /breaking down the doors to get in.  AND they interfered with police trying to give aid to the man. That, my friends, is why I avoid WALMART like the bloody plague. That mentality is rampant at Walmarts. At least during the hours before two a.m. (when I feel it is best to shop at Walmart if you HAVE to).
 And on top of that, the Toys R Us shooting. Shall we call it Bloody Friday and get it over with?
 This blogger is going to put a TV on lay-away at Kmart for myself, and buy my friends and loved-ones KROGER/SAFEWAY gift cards so they can go get drunk or eat some steak. OR get some gas. Useful things.
 We thought we'd be slammed because of Black Friday at work ; and we were, for a couple of hours but our lunch crowd never showed. Perhaps because our lunch crowd is primarily made of construction workers working on the Parkway Overpass near our diner. And they were not on the job today. Which begs a question... What will our lunch crowd look like when the Parkway is finished?  I try not to think about it.
 But someone should.
 My boss's mom's viewing is tonight and she's getting buried in Tennessee tomorrow. He won't be at work all day. I told him not to worry, we got it taken care of... that place runs itself. And if anyone gets out of line they will have to deal with my ... sour puss.
 lol.
What a day. The landlord is here now fixing something. It's seven pm.... I don't want that man here at night, it's my relaxing time. I'm glad he's fixing stuff but... I need my quiet.
